North Carolina Association of Educators Endorses Don Vaughan for State Senate

The North Carolina Association of Educators, the premier organization in the state fighting for our students, schools, and teachers, today endorsed Don Vaughan for State Senate.

NCAE's mission is to advocate for members and students, to enhance the education profession, and to advance public education.

Don believes we must invest in the next generation of North Carolinians by providing them with a strong education system. Don will support increasing teacher pay and address our state's high drop out rate. He will make sure that our schools' curriculum keeps North Carolina students ahead of the curve in math and science.

“Don Vaughan is well known by the teachers and other educators in Guilford County ,” commented NCAE President Sheri Strickland. “Don is a strong supporter of public schools and we are proud to be on his team.”

Don, a member of Greensboro City Council from 1991 to 2005, has worked tirelessly for Greensboro for over thirty years. In the State Senate, Don will be a strong advocate for Greensboro . He will bring experience, honesty and sensible solutions to the General Assembly. Don recognizes the issues most important to North Carolina and our region.
